For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen  is looking for aSenior System Engineer (m/f/d) Science and Exploration Missions Your Tasks Lead of the elaboration of technical proposal partsAnalysis of customer-, mission- and system requirements (specifications, SoW), including execution of a functional analysis, definition of a requirements tree and identification of proposed adaptationsExecution of trade-offs, analysis and definition of parts of the mission- and system architectureContribution to the definition and design of space systems including mission- and system design, responsible for analyses and design of subsystems and their specificationsLead and technical coordination of subprojects and internal projectsTechnical coordination of special departments and single subcontractors by order of Systems EngineeringManager (m/f/d) and/or the Project Manager (m/f/d) for selected systems or mission elementsPartial responsibility for project performance (schedule, cost, quality) as part of the project success Your QualificationsCompleted studies (Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualificationMany years of professional experience in several projects and relevant project phases (0/A/B1) of science, exploration, space safety and/or space transportation missionsDeeper knowledge of one or several subsystems with all its aspects (requirements, design, interfaces, technologies, verification, AIT)Knowledge of requirements analysis for subsystems of space systemsKnowledge of preparation of specificationsKnowledge of the definition of space system architectures for the entire space system and platform subsystems, responsible design of specific subsystemsKnowledge of mission definition, -sequence and –analysisKnowledge of interfaces definition to payload, launch and ground segment, specific subsystems of space systemsKnowledge of design and development planning (DDV/AIV) including determination of the qualification status (TRL)Knowledge of support to risk managementKnowledge of ECSS and other relevant standardsGood communication skillsAbility to work in a team Entrepreneurial thinking and actingKnowledge of market developments, competition, new technologies and innovations We offer Work Life Balance: Flexible working hours, sabbatical, 30 days vacation & special leave days Mobile Work: Hybrid work & mobile work abroad Structured on-boarding process (incl.
