Your missionDo you have a solid technical background and enjoy working with electronics, equipment and hands-on repairs?At Zellerfeld, we are working on the next generation of 3D printing systems, and we are looking for a Technical Assistant – Electronics & Maintenance to support the development and maintenance of our hardware infrastructure. Your work will focus on printed circuit boards (PCBs), cabling and equipment maintenance within our electronics and prototyping environment.In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper function of our machines and electronics. This includes assembly, repair and documentation of components that are essential for the reliability and scalability of our in-house production technology.Your profileYour ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on 3D printers and related technical equipmentAssemble and support prototyping of electronic circuit boards (SMD and THT)Operate and maintain soldering stations, pick-and-place machines and reflow ovensAssist in wiring and installation of cabling systems for prototypes and production setupsMaintain accurate documentation, including repair logs, schematics and wiring diagramsOrganize tools, components and workspaces in accordance with safety and quality standardsUse engineering tools and systems such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or CMMS platforms to support workflow and documentationYour Profile3+ years of experience in electronics maintenance or technical supportSolid understanding of electronic components, wiring and PCB assemblyPractical experience with soldering, diagnostics and repair of electronic assembliesFamiliarity with electronic production tools such as reflow ovens, pick-and-place systems and soldering equipmentAbility to work with suppliers or cross-functional teams in a technical production environmentStructured working style, attention to detail and a high sense of responsibilityFluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plusWhy us?Why us?Join UsAt Zellerfeld, we design and build our 3D printers entirely in-house—from the smallest mechanical component to custom cables and PCBs.
