Looking ahead to 2026, we are currently seeking an independent Contract & Claims Specialist (EPCI / Offshore DC Projects) (m/f/d) to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure project. 📍 Germany | Predominantly Remote / Hybrid⚡ Energy Transition Sector Would you like to be directly involved in shaping Europe’s future energy landscape? 🌍⚡ This freelance assignment offers the opportunity to provide commercial and contractual expertise on a complex, large-scale infrastructure project based in Germany. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial, contractual, and claims-related matters across the full project lifecycle Evaluate, prepare, and negotiate claims, change orders, and contractual adjustments with contractors Assist with contract administration tasks such as milestone tracking, invoicing, and commercial reporting Prepare and oversee formal contractual communication with suppliers and internal project teams Track claims, performance indicators, and financial data in structured reporting tools Support the project leadership team with claims prevention strategies and negotiation planning Participate in negotiations, workshops, and coordination meetings with external partners and internal stakeholders Candidate Profile Solid freelance background in contract and claims management, preferably within major infrastructure, offshore, or #HVDC environments In-depth understanding of EPCI contracting models and international contract frameworks Hands-on experience with English-language contracts subject to German law (knowledge of FIDIC is advantageous) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach to work Confident communicator with strong negotiation capabilities Professional fluency in both German and English (C1 level) Engagement Overview 📅 Start Date: Flexible / As soon as possible 📍 Work Location: Germany, with largely remote working and occasional travel (~10%) Why Consider This Assignment?
