We’re a fast-growing, tech-driven startup with an international team committed to bringing trust, transparency, and efficiency to agricultural trade.As we continue to scale, building an outstanding employee experience is essential—and that’s where you come in.Your challengeAs a People & Culture Intern, you will play an active role across the full HR lifecycle and contribute to making E-FARM an exceptional place to work. You’ll support both operational HR tasks and culture initiatives while learning how HR works inside a fast-growing scale-up.Recruiting & Talent AcquisitionDefine hiring targets together with founders and team leadsSupport creating/optimizing job profilesScreen applications and shortlist candidatesConduct first-round interviews and coordinate next stepsMaintain clear communication with candidates and stakeholdersPeople OperationsFacilitate onboarding & offboarding processesComplete daily HR administrative tasks (contracts, documentation, letters, etc.)Keep employee records organized and up to date in PersonioEnsure compliance with internal processes and HR standardsServe as the go-to person for everyday employee questions or issuesCulture & Employee ExperienceOrganize team gatherings, internal events, and office ritualsSupport initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and team cohesionHelp maintain a positive “feel-good” atmosphere in the officeContribute ideas to improve our culture, communication, and ways of workingPromote E-FARM’s values in everything you doYour profileEnrolled at a non-German Erasmus+ university (ideally near graduation)Available for at least 6 months in HamburgFluent in English (German is a plus)Strong communication skills and interpersonal empathyCritical HR judgement and a high sense of confidentiality & professionalismConfident and comfortable interacting with candidates and colleaguesProactive, well-organized, and motivated to take ownershipBonus: Familiarity with HR tools (e.g., Personio) or event organization experienceOur proposition€1,000/month on top of your Erasmus+ grantHands-on experience across recruiting, HR operations, and company cultureInvolvement in real HR processes—not just observingMentorship from experienced People & Culture professionalsA modern, centrally located office in HamburgA diverse, international team and regular team eventsA mission-driven scale-up environment with room to growPotential full-time career path after your internship
