Every structural optimization directly contributes to technologies where performance and reliability truly matter.Perform structural and strength analyses for mechanical components and assembliesSupport static, dynamic, and thermal calculationsCreate, execute, and evaluate FEA / CAE simulationsInterpret simulation results and derive design optimization recommendationsContribute to the design, verification, and validation of structural componentsCollaborate closely with design, development, and testing teamsAssist in defining and evaluating load cases, boundary conditions, and material propertiesPrepare technical documentation and analysis reportsActively contribute to engineering projects with a strong hands-on mindsetYOUR PROFILEEntry level: No prior full-time professional experience requiredBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering (with strong technical focus) or a comparable technical fieldRelevant hands-on experience gained through working student positions, internships, or comparable technical university projects (e.g. Formula Student, rocketry group) is mandatoryExperience in finite element modeling and simulation of composite and metallic structuresSolid understanding of structural mechanics fundamentals (e.g. strength, stiffness, load paths)Knowledge of composite and metallic material behaviorAbility to interpret simulation results and apply sound engineering judgmentExperience in technical documentation and clear engineering communicationExperience with programming or automation for analysis (e.g. Python, scripting, parametric workflows) is beneficialBusiness fluent English skills (C-Level), German skills beneficialWHAT WE OFFERPersonal responsibility & creative freedom: You actively contribute to the further development of our production technologies.Flexible working hours & mobile working: Work-life balance is not an empty promise with us (up to two days per week)Start-up spirit meets aerospace: flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes and room for innovation.Individual benefits: Choose between the Deutschland Ticket, Egym-Wellpass or a tax-free benefit with the Give Card (50€ net each month).Fresh food every day: Shared lunch break with healthy, varied dishes.Alpine view included: Our roof terrace invites you to relax after work.Further development guaranteed: You will grow both professionally and personally through exciting projects and exchanges with experts.We live and breathe team culture: whether it's a tech talk, team event or after-work - we celebrate successes together.About usBlackwave GmbH is a dynamic and leading aerospace company.
