You will be part of an organization dedicated to green energy, with skilled and motivated colleagues around the world. Job details: You will be working in the Sourcing department, BTI. You will report to Head - Sourcing, BTI and you will work at our facility at Thervoy Kandigai, Chennai, India. Your Tasks: Manage direct materials categories and external machining partners Support regional team in negotiations Adherence to regional and global processes including templates Follow Way to Market for NPI Ensure compliance Internal stakeholder management – factory managers, function mangers To explore and implement continuous improvement in sourcing process and supplier process for optimizing cost. To support budget preparation for the regional sourcing function External stakeholder management - key strategic suppliers To support regional sourcing team for implementing category strategies Participate and drive cross functional teams on various new initiatives Keep informed on sourcing methodology and best practice developments Be in forefront of market developments Professional and personal qualifications: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8+ years of experience in a Sourcing function.
