VIE: Junior Product Manager Exterior Sun Protections

SOMFY responds with innovative solutions that integrates controls, sensors, motorized sun protections such as rolling shutters and screens, as well as smart home equipment.  For our Exterior business, and attached to the Offer Marketing Manager Team Leader,  we are looking for a: VIE Junior Product Manager Exterior Sun Protections (f/m)  for the markets in Germany / Switzerland / Austria, for specific Exterior projects (especially in the fields of motorized sun protections, controls and sensors) in close connection with our central R&D and Marketing in France. Your main missions will be:Market needs analysis and business case frame for innovations Management of the Product Portfolio according to our standard process from specification phase to product launch and product phase-out  :Product specification in early project phase (with customers, Somfy International, etc.) Preparation and global coordination of the product launch in project modus (including sales team, marketing communication, training center, logistics, etc.) Planning and coordination of product phase-out Test and qualification of new products (German specific applications) during the different project phases (until serial life) Smart Services and Connected Solutions compatibility management   Strong links with France.   Why joining this mission? You will have the opportunity to: Gain experience in product management by working on your own projects (2 to 3 projects) Develop your adaptation skills by working on a large product portfolio and on several brands Be at the heart of the subsidiary's interactions Work in an international environment Join a dynamic team that's eager to support your growth QualificationsBac+5 (Business / Marketing / Engineering) Technical affinities and interest in connected products. Experience in product management is not mandatory but a previous experience in marketing would be appreciated: intern, part-time student or first job Excel: good level (prices, forecasts), Powerpoint: very good level, Canva would be a benefit, Soft skills: curiosity, agile, analytical mind, proactive. Fluent in English and basic German required.It's a great environment to improve your level in German, with colleagues willing to help you progress and are used to welcoming VIEs Additional InformationLocation : Rottenburg am Neckar, 50 km from Stuttgart (possibility of living there if you have a car). Period: Position to be filled 1st Quarter 2026 Duration: 12 to 18 months Comply with VIE eligibility requirements (source: service-public.fr)  / "Faire son VIE en Allemagne" : https://mon-vie-via.businessfrance.fr/en/destinations/allemagne The protection of our candidates’ personal data is a commitment of Somfy Group.
