Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.  What you'll build Position title: SAP Datasphere iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Connection Management Work Area: Software-Design and Development Location: Walldorf Expected start date: December 2025 In this role, you’ll: Work in an international team at the heart of SAP Business Data Cloud, building cloud services to establish connectivity to remote systems Work on front-end and back-end development tasks using cloud native technologies Assist in developing an extensible user interface with a model-view-controller pattern Help to improve observability of the service by introducing and enhancing metrics and alerts Learn how to write clean, robust and readable code in an enterprise context Write unit and integration tests to ensure a high-level of software quality and to avoid regressions. What you bring You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. Self-organized, team player, curious with a creative mindset Programming skills in one or more of Typescript, JavaScript, Python or Golang Experience with state-of-the-art development tools (Git, Github, Jira) is helpful Basic working knowledge with Linux  Knowledge in cloud development is beneficial  Prior work experience in software-engineering projects is a plus  Fluent in English - both written and verbal, German is a plus  Required attendance in Walldorf office (1-2 a week) Where you belong SAP Business Data Cloud is incorporating SAP Datasphere which enables data professionals to easily access and distribute mission-critical business data across their organization’s data landscape.  The Connection Management team helps to manage the configuration data necessary for accessing data sources. We collaborate with various other teams, both in Walldorf and internationally. Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
