As an (Associate) JavaScript Developer, you’ll craft high-quality code that pushes the boundaries of AI-powered enterprise software development. Responsibilities: Design, build, maintain, and support BTP ABAP AI Hub using JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver solutions that are viable, feasible, and intuitive for users Apply Agile practices by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives Translate product strategy and requirements into well-architected, high-quality code; assess technical feasibility and align with architectural standards Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, refactoring, testing, and adoption of best practices and emerging technologies What you bring Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (strong academic record is a plus) Proven proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python Solid understanding of database systems and SQL Hands-on experience with web and cloud technologies, including Node.js and HTTP-based network protocols Familiarity with the SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment and the ABAP programming language is an advantage Genuine curiosity and passion for AI technology and its role in shaping the future of software development Excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English, enabling effective collaborationin a diverse, multicultural team Where you belong The ABAP AI Hub team is revolutionizing the ABAP - building core AI components with passion and creativity.
