Join us in creating a future beyond fossilsWe are now looking for a Senior Turnaround Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Wrocław, Poland.Greetings from your future managerWhat you will do Take care about typical turnaround relevant needs e.g. mechanical services, scaffolding, cleaning, insulation, crane work, pipe material, seals, spare parts, plant equipment etc.Be responsible for independent coordination with the turnaround and maintenance teamBe able to regularly travel to Leuna for internal coordination as well as bidder meetings during the preparation, execution and follow-up phasesPlan, manage and execute sourcing events (RFI, RFQ) for the in Germany located company UPM Biochemicals GmbHProvide expertise, guide and influence stakeholders in driving complex sourcing projectsCreate competitive sourcing tactics for sourcing event execution Identify proactively opportunities to reduce spend and optimize supply baseAnalyse and evaluate supplier's performance, manage supply baseUse Ariba platform to enhance sourcing event executionEnsure efficient, effective Source-to-Contract process implementation in your everyday workWho you are You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in (industrial) engineering, (technical) business administration or other relevant professional qualification in the related areaYou have at least 5 years of work experience in turnaround sourcing e.g. as a sourcing specialist related to materials and services in the chemical industry, in the area of turnaround/shutdown needsYou are fluent in English and German and you have experience in working at German market, with German suppliers and German contractsYou have strong experience of e-sourcing tools like SAP 4/Hana, Ariba and SBN.You have knowledge about legal requirements in German chemical industrial sectorYou are proactive, service-oriented person with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skillsYou have a general technical understanding of typical industrial needsYou show assertiveness against internal stakeholders and suppliersYou have good collaboration and team-working skills, you have self-management skills and are not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quoThis is what we offer for youA meaningful job – We have an inspiring purpose ‘We create a future beyond fossils'.
