The role focuses on identifying opportunities to streamline processes in configuration management and mechanical engineering, and developing practical tools or workflows to improve efficiency.Your main tasks will be:Analyze current processes and workflows to identify automation opportunitiesPropose innovative solutions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracyDevelop, test, and validate automation tools or scriptsDocument solutions and provide training or guidelines for implementationCollaborate with engineers and configuration managers to ensure solutions meet operational needsRequirementsDesired Profile:Currently pursuing an engineering degree (mechanical or systems engineering)Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA, or similar)Initial experience in automation and artificial intelligenceBasic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and configuration managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with technical teamsAvailable 2 - 3 days per week in our Hamburg office (100% onsite)Skills That Will Set You Apart:Knowledge of CAD tools or PLM systemsInterest in process optimization and digital transformationBenefitsCollaboration with team player colleagues in a pleasant family atmosphere with modern technology and equipment, short decision paths and flat hierarchiesDevelopment opportunitiesAttractive remuneration in line with the market, an occupational pension scheme, 30 days of holidayGrant to "Deutschlandticket" (public transportation)
