Under the direct supervision of the Project Steering Committee, this role ensures alignment with national security objectives, contractual requirements, and stakeholder expectations. QualificationsPrior experience working with EUCOM, NATO, Bundeswehr, or US Armed Forces.PMP or relevant project management certification.Experience in business development within the defense sector.Extensive experience in portfolio or program management within the defense industry, logistic support serviceStrong knowledge of government contracts, defense procurement processes, regulations, and security protocols.Proven ability to manage complex, high-value projects and programs up to 5M annual revenueFluent in English (native speaker) and German (both written and verbal).Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Excellent financial management and analytical skills.Ability to obtain and maintain a high-level security clearance.In-depth knowledge of defense technologies and systems. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:Oversee the management, operation, and successful delivery of Austability GmbH’s defense contracts and projects across multiple military bases and facilities in Germany.Ensure compliance with German-US agreements, Bundeswehr, and NATO requirements.Implement organizational goals, strategic plans, policies, and operational procedures.Coordinate with government agencies, military personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.Provide day-to-day support for technical and administrative project activities.Build and maintain strong client relationships with military and industry partners.Supervise financial aspects, including payables, invoice processing, and budget management.Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources while maintaining strict financial controls.Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and security awareness.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the defense sector.Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned.
