ResponsibilitiesOur security consulting approach focuses on ensuring the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data and systems. As an IT Security Consultant (m/f/d), you will work on a holistic security approach to help our clients make their digital environments highly resilient to cyber threats. Design secure IT infrastructures in complex networks and promote a comprehensive approach to securing IT services and systems Enhance the resilience of digital environments against cyber threats (Embedded Security) Identify vulnerabilities and actively participate in preventive measures Implement security solutions to optimize operational processes Design access rights and identity management (Identity & Access Management) Activities focused on IoT security (Risk & Compliance) Advise on cloud security and cloud computing infrastructure Ensure the security of system-centric platforms (SAP, CI/CD, Kafka) Ensure application security in development and operational phases Participate in ransomware readiness assessments Integrate DevSecOps practices and incorporate security aspects Develop a deep understanding of Security-in-Depth strategies Participate in IT security training and contribute to process documentation Gain comprehensive insights into various compliance frameworks, data protection, and privacy (IT & Compliance Audits) Your Qualifications Strong curiosity and motivation to quickly delve into new areas of knowledge and follow current developments in IT security Successfully completed studies with an IT-related focus, e.g., computer science or a comparable qualification Expertise in authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and single sign-on Initial experience with concepts of identity lifecycle management, identity provisioning, and identity attestation is an advantage Openness to new challenges in areas such as DevSecOps, application security testing, identity & access management, and risk & compliance Knowledge of cloud security services, particularly in identity and access management, platform protection, data and application security, and security operations management Interest in ransomware topics and the development of readiness assessments Customer orientation and enjoyment in project work in an (inter)national project environment Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German is an asset About beON As an exclusive IT consulting firm, we offer innovative IT services, tailored technology platforms, and powerful software solutions for leading clients in the insurance and banking sectors.
