BTM is a central piece of SAP’s overall business suite strategy, positioning you at the forefront of digital transformation. YOUR FUTURE ROLE As a Solution Sales Manager (f/m/d), you will lead, drive, manage, coach and develop a team of Solution Sales Executives while consistently achieving targeted revenue goals. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Develop your team into an outstanding, high-performing unit through hands-on coaching, identifying development opportunities, and driving sales excellenceRevenue Excellence: Manage the sales pipeline proactively using MEDDIC methodology, ensuring forecast accuracy and driving both large 7-digit transformational deals and volume 6-digit businessEntrepreneurial Growth: Foster a can-do mentality and entrepreneurial mindset within your team to identify and drive standalone opportunities beyond traditional account plansEnd-to-End Sales Management: Take ownership of the entire sales funnel in alignment with SDRs, Marketing, Solution Advisory, CSM, and Partner ManagersIndustry Expertise: Build and leverage deep industry knowledge and networks in your assigned sectorSolution Advocacy: Position and champion the complete SAP BTM value proposition including LeanIX, Signavio, Tricentis, Syniti and CALM as part of the “Integrated Tool Chain”Relationship Building: Establish strong customer relationships at C-level and build a thriving BTM customer community within your industryDemonstration Leadership: Serve as a hands-on role model by actively participating in solution demonstrations and customer engagementsCross-SAP Collaboration: Build reliable networks within SAP, particularly with Industry Account Executives and Sales ManagersPartner Ecosystem: Facilitate and strengthen the BTM partner ecosystem within your industry vertical YOUR PROFILE several years of successful experience in enterprise software sales with strong SAP ecosystem knowledgeProven people management experience with ability to develop high-performing sales teamsDeep industry expertise and established network in either Public & Energy OR Discrete ManufacturingEntrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to drive incremental revenue and standalone opportunitiesStrong hands-on solution demonstration capabilitiesExperience with MEDDIC sales methodology and forecast excellenceBroad understanding of BPM, Process Mining, Enterprise Architecture, and SAP’s Integrated Tool ChainExcellent German and English language skillsWillingness to travel up to 50% within Germany Preferred: Individual contributor sales background with track record of closing large enterprise dealsExperience with SAP RISE and ERP solutionsProven success managing both large transformational transactions and volume businessStrong diplomatic and team-building skills WHAT WE OFFER Leadership role in SAP’s strategic BTM business unitOpportunity to shape the future of digital transformation in critical industriesDirect impact on SAP’s overall business suite strategyFlexible work arrangements including co-leadership and part-time optionsExtensive learning and development opportunities Ready to drive sales excellence and build the next generation of BTM sales talent?
