As part of the rollout of a new Transport Management System (TMS), we are looking for a Lobster Data – EDI Developer (m/f/d) who will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting our EDI interfaces.Expertise for the Team – Your Profile Basics: Degree in Software/Application Development or completed vocational training as IT Specialist for Application Development (m/f/d)Experience: Several years of professional experience implementing data exchange interfaces in the logistics industry following best practices, ideally with Lobster DataKnow-how:-Confident handling of XML, JSON, and communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, Webservices, etc.-Solid knowledge of common exchange formats (e.g. EDIFACT, X12, ASN, JSON, XML, FTP, SFTP, APIs, OFTP)-Experience with SQL, preferably in database systems such as OracleDB, MSSQL, or MySQLSkills: Strong understanding of databases, conceptual and analytical thinking, and the ability to bridge communication between business and IT departmentsCommunication: Fluent English skills (spoken and written), or alternatively very good German skills with good English skillsGrowing Together – Your Responsibilities Comprehensive EDI Integration: Develop and support internal and external EDI interfaces to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, TMS, Oracle) as part of the new TMS rollout – including maintenance and ongoing optimizationMapping with Lobster Data: Analyze, design, and implement complex mappings and conversions with Lobster Data, tailored to customer-specific requirementsEnsure Reliable Connections: Set up and operate secure communication channels for electronic data exchange with business partners, including monitoring, error analysis, troubleshooting, and live supportDocument & Share Knowledge: Create technical interface documentation and integration guidelines, and conduct training sessions to build sustainable internal know-how for onboarding new business partnersArrive and Get Started – Your Benefits Fair Compensation: Attractive salaryPersonal Development: Individual training and development opportunitiesFlexibility: Up to 100% remote work possible, with occasional on-site meetings by arrangement and flexible working hoursCreative Freedom: Work in an innovative, forward-looking company with modern IT infrastructureAdditional Benefits: Capital-forming benefits and corporate discounts on more than 600 brandsKontaktinformationen Would you like to become an ambassador for our logistics culture?Then please use our online application form.
