Today, more than 4, experts from over countries contribute to our sustainable success.Job DescriptionThis position offers you a unique opportunity to obtain your master’s degree while gaining insight into cutting-edge MEMS technology.You will contribute to magnetic characterizations and micromagnetic simulations to perform systematic studies of how geometry, material composition and crystallographic influence an micro-actuator performance.You will present and discuss your results with your team as well with the academic collaborator.The findings of your study will contribute to optimization strategies for the next generation of MEMS-based cell sorting devices used in cancer research.Your workplace is Bergisch Gladbach. QualificationsYou are an enrolled Master’s student in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline and passionate about science.You have basic knowledge in micro-fabrication, biomedical device applications, magnetism, material science, magnetic characterization methods (SQUID, VSM, etc.) and simulation tools (COMSOL, SEM).You have demonstrated your ability to work both independently and in an interdisciplinary team with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.You have good organizational and analytical skills.Your motivation, teamwork spirit and excellent written and spoken English skills complete your profile.
