Our subsidiary, CodeWrights, specializes in the development of innovative software solutions for process and industrial automation. As a reliable partner in our customers' value chain, CodeWrights develops customized software products and solutions in an international environment. To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as Head of Finance. In this role, you will take full responsibility for all finance and controlling matters. You will lead a small team, work hands‑on yourself, and act as the main point of contact for management, tax advisors, and external partners. The position is intentionally designed to be hands‑on while also offering room for shaping the future and providing a clear development perspective (including procuration). The position is located at CodeWrights in Karlsruhe. Specifically, you can expect the following tasks: You actively contribute to financial accounting and take responsibility for coordinating the team and external service providers. You take charge of operational controlling, including budget planning, forecasts, and profitability analyses. You prepare financial KPIs and decision-making documents for the management team. You support financial closings and handle commercial inquiries. You continuously develop finance structures and processes. You provide professional leadership to a small team. You play an active role in shaping the strategic direction of the company as part of our management team (together with colleagues from Sales, Portfolio, People & Culture, Technology, and the Executive Management). You work closely with the Group Controlling team of Endress+Hauser. Your qualifications: You have a completed degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable field. You bring several years of professional experience in Finance or Controlling, ideally in a mid-sized or growth-oriented environment. You already have initial to several years of leadership experience. You have a strong understanding of operational finance processes and business‑management relationships. You work in a structured, pragmatic way and have a strong hands‑on mentality. You communicate confidently and convincingly, both with management and external partners. You are familiar with the relevant accounting standards (HGB, ideally also IFRS). You speak German and English fluently, enabling you to work professionally in both languages.
