Hauptaufgaben

• Heavy Vehicle Operation: Operates gasoline- or diesel-powered trucks, truck tractors with trailers/semi-trailers, tank trucks and specialized heavy vehicles.

• Trailer and Equipment Handling: Connects and operates trailers using fifth-wheel turntables or pintle hooks; controls power takeoff–equipped special-purpose equipment through levers, buttons, and pedals.

• Diverse Terrain Driving: Drives safely on public roads, through varying traffic conditions, across open fields, and over rough terrain based on vehicle type and mission requirements.

• Cargo Loading and Unloading: Loads and unloads vehicles while ensuring cargo is properly positioned and handled.

• Load Safety and Protection: Verifies that vehicles are not overloaded and that cargo is weather-protected and securely fastened to prevent loss or damage.

• Trip Documentation: Completes trip tickets and records all required operational data accurately.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

• Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B and CE.

• If requirement exists, the incumbent of this position is obligated to perform TDY within and outside Germany, shift work, weekend and holiday work.
• English Language Proficiency level A1 AND German Language Proficiency level B1 required.
• Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
