Senior Engineer for SiC Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities: Transition new SiC products and processes from prototype stages to full-scale manufacturing Improve the stability of existing processes by minimizing defects and enhancing yield and reliability for qualification Develop alternative processing methods to expand process capabilities and improve manufacturability Create and manage trend and control charts to identify and address deviations in processes Set up production equipment and offer guidance to production operators when technical support is needed Collaborate with the process engineering team to design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) studies Maintain responsibility for daily process operations, equipment troubleshooting, and mentoring technicians Oversee the release of documentation for assigned tasks and provide technical support to stakeholders in SiC technologies Qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in a technical field, preferably related to microelectronics or an equivalent discipline More than 5 years of experience in SiC processing, ideally within a SiC wafer fab, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: Etching and Cleaning, Oxidation and Annealing, Thin Film Deposition, or Implantation Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles Proficiency with documentation systems and basic data analysis tools Excellent troubleshooting skills across system, process, and equipment levels, with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English; additional proficiency in German and/or Chinese is advantageous Strategic thinker with a well-organized, independent work style Effective team player in a multicultural environment Proactive attitude with a willingness to step beyond the comfort zone and take on additional responsibilities Was wir können: Responsible Tasks Networking throughout the group Sport activities Flat hierarchies Team-oriented work Responsible Tasks Networking throughout the group Sport activities Flat hierarchies Team-oriented work
