As a Junior Copywriter at AKQA Berlin, you’ll help give voice to some of the world’s most iconic brands.This role requires native-level German proficiency.You will be writing confidently in both German and English, crafting headlines, scripts, and stories that resonate across cultures. This role is ideal for an emerging talent looking to develop their skills and make a significant impact early in their career. You will bring curiosity, precision, and originality to everything you do — from a single social caption to a full campaign narrative, from shaping user journeys to writing for cutting-edge digital products. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Create engaging and impactful copy across channels, including ATL, digital, social, experiential, film, and emerging media Collaborate with art directors, designers, technologists, strategists, and creative directors to shape concepts and bring big ideas to life Write with clarity, creativity, and craft, adapting tone and style to fit different brands, audiences, and platforms Contribute to the development of narratives for innovative services, apps, and connected experiences Support senior creatives in pitches and presentations with fresh thinking and sharp storytelling, while being proactive and working independently. Deliver work with high attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency Stay attuned to cultural trends, technological shifts, and new forms of storytelling, applying them to creative solutions QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS Excellent written and spoken German at a native level Excellent written and spoken English at a professional level A portfolio that demonstrates craft, imagination, and the ability to think across media, technology, and formats A natural wordsmith — precise, inventive, and passionate about language Enthusiastic about brand storytelling, cultural narratives, and shaping ideas that connect emotionally Curios about new technologies and digital platforms, with an interest in how they expand the possibilities of storytelling Collaborative, open-minded, and eager to learn and grow Practical copywriting experience in an agency setting or through internships is a plus Explore our extensive range of benefits . We believe great work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection.
