The so-called Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU) are of crucial importance for Germany's security of supply with natural gas. Apply today and join us in shaping the future Tasks As a Gas Dispatching Specialist (m/f/d), you will support the commercial team with operational and administrative dispatching tasks, including: Coordinating and monitoring daily gas dispatching activities from FSRU to the grid Tracking gas nominations and ensuring alignment with delivery schedules Monitoring gas flows, pressure levels, and inventory balances in coordination with technical teams Communicating with terminal users, ship operators, and grid operators to ensure smooth logistics and accurate scheduling Maintaining dispatch records, logs, and operational reports Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliation activities Participating in process improvements and digitalization of dispatching workflows Supporting the planning of ship-to-ship transfers in close coordination with the logistics and operations teams Requirements We are looking for a reliable, team-oriented candidate with a structured working style and technical interest: Completed vocational training or technical education in logistics, energy systems, industrial operations, or a comparable field Practical experience in gas, energy, utilities, or industrial dispatching/logistics Familiarity with dispatching procedures, control room environments, or terminal operations Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable using digital tools (Excel, dispatching software, monitoring systems) Good command of English (German is an asset) Willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, or in rotating schedules High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and reliability Big plus if you have experience and knowledge in REMIT Nice to have: Experience or knowledge in gas accounting or related energy sector processes Gasfin advises, develops and operates LNG infrastructure projects in the mid-scale segment around the world.
