Apply now as Ph.D. Chemistry / Medicinal Chemist (m/f/d) at Lena.Fischer@permacon.de — we look forward to meeting you Your Responsibilities Develop and implement SAR/SPR strategies and support drug design Drive early drug discovery projects from hit identification through to PCC Integrate cross-disciplinary scientific insights into project strategies Provide project management leadership, including prioritization and strategic decision-making Conduct IP reviews and assessments for ongoing projects Use—or be willing to learn—Schrödinger Live Design as a central collaboration/design tool Collaborate with global discovery teams in cardiovascular, oncology, and immunology Join virtual and on-site meetings across European and US locations (occasional travel) Your Profile Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry Extensive experience in early drug discovery services from hit identification to PCC Proven track record in drug design projects within cardiovascular, oncology, or immunology Strong background in SAR/SPR, data-driven decision-making, IP review, and cross-functional integration Demonstrated project management and strategic leadership capabilities Experience with—or readiness to adopt—Schrödinger Live Design Fluent English (spoken and written) High level of ownership, analytical mindset, and enthusiasm for international collaboration What We Offer Engagement with a world-leading pharmaceutical company and international project setup 100% remote work for maximum flexibility Long-term, career-advancing project assignment with a renowned pharma group headquartered in Leverkusen Innovative research environment using state-of-the-art tools and methods (incl.
