Huawei Ohm Research Center (Nuremberg) is responsible for Network Energy Advanced Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning.The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within the Huawei’s Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning, and plays an important role in the Huawei Digital Power business in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.Join us as aElectrical Engineer (m/f/d)Your missionDesign, plan, and execute experiments involving high-voltage circuits and arc discharge phenomena.Collaborate with cross-functional research projects to design test benches, diagnostics, and measurement set ups.Lead data analysis, model development, and reporting of experimental outcomes.Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.Guide junior engineers, researchers, students and laboratory technicians. Your areas of expertisePhD in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with specialization in power systems, high-voltage engineering, or applied electromagnetics.Practical knowledge of ultra-fast mechanical, piezoelectric, or electromagnetic actuators is an advantage.Experience with handling, conditioning, and testing insulating materials is an advantage.Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.By applying to this position, you agree with our Recruitment Privacy Statement.
