We design, manufacture, and market cutting-edge e-bike drive systems and complete electric cargo bikes, combining engineering excellence with outstanding product reliability.We are now seeking a talented Lead Software Development Engineer eager to shape the future of e-bike technology with us.Your Responsibilities:Development of embedded software and tools for electrical components and systems for e-bike drives, from concept to series productionDesign of concepts, architectures, and specifications based on CAN bus and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)Responsibility for the integration of HMI, remote controls, and displaysInterface coordination with system components, especially Battery Management Systems (BMS)Support in the development of ride control and drive regulation systemsCreation of test specifications, reviews, and approvals within the software development processDevelopment of software test strategies and implementation of automated software tests, including unit, integration, and system testingDocumentation and version control of software, including code reviewsIndependent work within project teams, including analysis and planning of work packages in close collaboration with hardware and frontend developersPotential interest in taking on a team lead roleYour Profile:Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer engineering, information technology, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experienceExperience in e-bike drive systems and related interfaces (CAN bus)Experience with HMI, remote controls, and displays, including relevant interfaces (BLE)Solid practical knowledge of programming languages Python and C/C++Experience in embedded software development (real-time systems)Familiarity with configuration, version control, documentation, and testing tools (e.g., GIT, DOXYGEN)Experience in software design according to the V-model standardBasic knowledge of electric drives and actuators, interfaces, and protocolsIndependent working style, reliability in meeting deadlines, and strong team skillsProficient in English, both written and spokenWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and monthly tax-free benefitOpportunity to shape future mobility technologies in a dynamic, forward-thinking team passionate about innovationProfessional growth with potential for leadership rolesFlexible working hours to support a healthy work-life balanceReady to ride with us?
