Terry Labonte Chevrolet Collision CenterLocation: 1401 Bridford Parkway, Greensboro, North Carolina 27407Summary: Responsible for repairing dents and painting parts after body repair work is complete according to Collision Center guidelines.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Examines body damage on customer vehiclesIdentifies necessary body repair workEstimates cost of body workRequests necessary partsPerforms body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new partsDocuments repairs performedPerforms body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelinesApplies paint to vehicle parts after repair work is complete.Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting.Buffs or cleans surfaces after paint dries.Requests necessary materials.Performs paint jobs efficiently and according to Collision Center guidelines.Maintains CSI at or above Company standardsMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.Demonstrates the Company’s Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to operate equipment to perform painting functions.Certificates and Licenses:√ Valid Driver’s Licenseo Automobile Salesperson LicenseComputer Skills:Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.Communication Skills:Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and companypersonnel.Attendance Expectations:The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.Environment Demands:Duties are performed primarily in the body repair shop. Work includes movement of vehicle body parts, working in various physical positions, the safe operation of power tools, frequent movement around vehicles in order to apply paint to various vehicle body parts. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, paint-dust, paint fumes, and other body repair shop conditions.Verbal and Writing Ability:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
