We make the future of mobility a reality.We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our team.Your TasksYou develop web interfaces for radar sensors and edge devices, complex Web UI based configuration pages and visualization pages for sensor data and the environment (map data, lanes, intersections, etc.) including augmentation of map views and camera viewsYou will ensure that the diagnostic data of the radar sensors, the synchronization information with other radar sensors and the results of the sensor fusion are displayed in a central control unitYou are responsible for quality assurance and documentation of the frontends and their architecture, as well as for the implementation and integration of APIs from your own backend and third partiesBeing part of a team of developers and UX experts, you ensure that customer requirements are implementedYour StrengthsCompleted studies in the field of computer science or similar qualificationAs a senior or principal engineer you have solid practical experience in software development and in using modern front-end techniques (e.g. React, Angular or Vue)You have experience in team leadership, project management and product ownership and you are ready to take over responsibilityYou have knowledge in designing user interfaces; advanced knowledge in CSS, HTML, JavaScript and PHP is beneficialExperience in working with version control systems (Git), ticket systems (Jira) and in the use of REST interfaces is also an advantageIn addition, you have good knowledge in quality assurance including the execution of developer tests as well as UI or UX designYou have the clean code mentality and love everything that is helpful for good code: from continuous integration to test automationYou are familiar with working independently with Scrum and similar agile methodsWhat you can expect from usInnovation: latest technologies, modern building and free charging of electric and hybrid electric vehiclesPleasant working environment: informal culture, motivated teams, short communication channels, room for active participationFuture-oriented workplace: permanent employment and individual training opportunities Attractive location: located directly next to the highway and bus stop, with parking facilities for cars and bikesFlexible working: hybrid working (4 days office presence per week)Activities: team events, gym membership and moreOther benefitsAbout usBecome a part of our innovative company and work together with us to develop our leading technology in the field of radar and hybrid sensors and systems.Please send us your complete application with certificates by mail at careers@smartmicro.de or fill out the form at our career page.
