Become a part of our future at SMS group GmbH in Mönchengladbach or Hilchenbach where we're looking to recruit a YOU ACT You are responsible for managing our group and investment controlling team at the headquarters and managing the related reporting processes, policies and systems in close collaboration with the finance teams of subsidiaries worldwide.Responsible for the monthly and annual IFRS financial statements of the consolidated subsidiaries, and for ensuring compliance with group standards and regulatory requirementsLead financial reporting and manage processes for actuals, forecasting and variance analysis at group levelDevelop further the integrated reporting system to create meaningful dashboards and improve our business analytics, e.g. through AI-based solutionsCollaborate closely with internal/external stakeholders and in particular with local finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, planning, and cash flow managementAct as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team, providing ad-hoc financial analysis and decision papers to drive the global finance strategyCoach, lead and develop the team by fostering professional growth Lead or support cross-functional projects of the management board e.g. Integration of new subsidiaries, M&A activities, business plans/strategies, strategic investments YOU KNOW We're looking for people who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. If this is you and you bring in the following knowledge, we'd love to talk:Master’s degree in finance, controlling, accounting, or an equivalent field.5+ years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in a multinational company with 5000+ employees.Excellent knowledge of group controlling tools and methods, IFRS accounting principles, group consolidation, financial analytics, process modelling and KPI analysisMastery of finance, group reporting and investment controlling.
