Engineering Manager, Python/TypeScript

Your missionYou lead one of our engineering teams, developing software that improves our customers' daily productivityWith your team, you plan, architect & develop applications within the team’s tech stack, which includes Python, Rest API, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/GitLab, Flask, React and Node.js in TypeScript, running on AWSYou work closely with Product Owners, Designers & the team’s Scrum Master to create high-quality features that delight our customersYou collaborate closely with fellow Engineering Managers to build lasting, scalable, highly available, and reliable technical solutions on the team and on the cross-team level, ensuring the overall excellence of our software platformYou think outside the box and bring your ideas to improve our product or increase our developer experience to the tableYour profileYou are experienced in people leadership and in team management as a “playing coach” in a software engineering teamYou are very hands-on with coding, too, and feel equally at home in the backend as well as on the frontend, with experience in both areas, whether it's complex architectures or the design of single-page applicationsYou know the ins & outs of Python, and have a good idea about TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactYou are a power user of AI-based tools (ideally, have experience with GitHub Copilot), and you know how to boost your and your team’s productivity with them safely and responsiblyYou know how to use LLMs as components of software architecture and as a means of delivering customer valueYou have working experience with building cloud applications on AWSYou write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check You have excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented & KPI-driven working styleYou are a strong communicator, and your English is at a very good level (>C1)Why us?An open-minded and friendly team working with agile methods - as proven by our Kununu Score of 4,6Flexible & hybrid working 40 days of workation per year in the EUCompany events & sports offersCorporate benefitsCompany pension schemeChildcare allowance EGYM Wellpass membership discountDiverse development opportunities and a continuing education budget You want to be part of our success story?Are you a team player looking for an opportunity to grow in an international and agile environment?
