We deliver the graphene solutionThe RoleBlack Semiconductor is looking for a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer (f/m/d) to strengthen our growing team in Aachen, Germany. In this role, you will ensure that all supplier materials, both direct and indirect, meet our high-quality standards and requirements. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain and improve quality processes, conduct audits, and ensure smooth tracking of materials in the ERP systemThis role is critical in supporting the reliability and performance of our semiconductor production and operationsTo join our team, you should be excited toManage day-to-day activities related to supplier quality and materials and ensure accurate tracking in the ERP system across all categories of direct and indirect materials, including wafers, IT hardware, office equipment, consumables, and gasesOrganize and perform supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and internal quality requirementsDevelop and implement quality control plans for supplier materials in collaboration with suppliers and internal departmentsWork closely with suppliers and internal teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issuesCollect and analyze supplier quality data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier base and contribute to developing Black Semiconductor’s quality strategyYour QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldMinimum 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, or procurement, ideally in a semiconductor, tech, manufacturing, or R&D-driven environmentExperience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949:2026Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), quality management tools, and Excel; experience with BI tools or Python is a plusExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English (German is a strong plus)Our work culturePeople Over Processes. At Black Semiconductor, flexibility is key—we ensure work adapts to life, not the other way around.
