Evotec is seeking a dynamic and results-orientedSVPHead of Commercial Operations to setup and lead the development and optimization of commercial processes tools,analytics and support systems to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency and customer-centric execution and overall commercial performance. This pivotal role will focus on improving sales effectiveness, streamlining business processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the commercial organization. The role will include oversight of proposal management, CRM and sales process optimization, and pipeline insights. The ideal candidate will have a strongtrack record in commercial strategy, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to drive impactful change and deliver value to both internal stakeholders and clientsKey Responsibilities:Establish and oversee a unified global proposal process across all Evotec sites, ensuring consistency and efficiency.Implement and manage key commercial tools to streamline the sales process and drive effective execution.Guarantee that customers consistently receive exceptional service from Evotec.Track and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure commercial targets are met, including proposal turnaround times.Partner with commercial leadership to operationalize go-to-market strategies. Act as the primary liaison between legal and other commercial teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.Qualifications:Operational Background in Pharma, Biotech, or CRO Industries: Extensiveexperience in senior executive roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or contract research organization (CRO) sectors, with a strong understanding of operational challenges and strategic priorities.Project & Commercial Management Experience: Proven ability to manage complex projects, optimize commercial processes, and lead proposal development, CRM systems, and sales operations.Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams, driving strategic alignment, and ensuring effective execution across departments.Customer & KPI Focus: Demonstrated ability to deliver premium customer service while driving commercial performance through optimization of key performance indicators (KPIs).Legal & Communication Skills:Expertise in navigating legal and regulatory landscapes within commercial operations, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences and senior stakeholders. Personal Attributes:A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying novel solutions, driving new business development opportunities, and creating impactful partnerships.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across pharma, biotech, and venture capital firms.A results-driven professional who thrives in high-pressure environments, focusing on tangible outcomes, performance metrics, and successful partnerships.Brings a structured, data-driven, and systemic approach to leadership, ensuring clarity in execution and alignment across complex organizations.
