We are looking for reinforcement  A meaningful, robust, and transportable exhibition exhibit with a clear reference to electrolysis technology is to be designed, manufactured, and iteratively optimized for the presentation of current research and development work in the Electrosynthesis Department. The aim is to clearly communicate key functional principles; interactive elements (e.g., visualization, control) may be integrated for this purpose. The work will be carried out in close coordination with the scientific teams in the department.   Be part of change Concept and design of a trade fair exhibit with a clear storyline relating to electrolysis technology Construction and prototyping, including selection of suitable materials and production-oriented implementation Implementation of simple interactive features Testing, robustness and transport optimization Documentation (assembly instructions, safety/operating instructions if necessary)   What you contribute Studies (ideally technical/scientific), e.g., in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, process engineering, chemical engineering, physics, chemistry, or similar Interest/basic knowledge of electrochemistry/energy technology Previous knowledge of science communication/exhibit design Basic knowledge of programming/electronics (e.g., Arduino/Raspberry Pi, Python, simple GUIs) would be desirable Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of practical work (prototype construction, tinkering, iterative improvement) Structured approach to work, ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills (for “explaining & simplifying” complex content) Good English skills   What we offer We are committed to creating an inspiring working environment in which all employees can develop. The position is initially limited to 12 months. Alternatively, the position can also be carried out as part of a bachelor's or master's thesis, in which case the working hours can be increased to up to 39 hours.  Remuneration according to the general works agreement for employing assistant staff.
