PORTFOLIO AND APPLICATION MANAGER CONSTRUCTION, ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS (M/F/D)Business Division: Functional ChemicalsMarket Segment: Coatings and ConstructionLocation: TübingenContract: full-time/ permanentStart date: January 2026YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESManage and position the global product portfolio for products in construction, adhesives and sealants, focusing on profitability, market trends and competitive landscapeOversee the full product lifecycle: development, positioning, launch, enhancement, communication, and phase-outIdentify regional market needs and trends, define optimal market penetrationDevelop strategic pricing modelsDrive the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure continuous improvementLead and inspire a diverse, multicultural laboratory team, foster collaborationProvide global application services and expertise, including lab work, customer trials, internal and external training, and participation in technical conferencesYOUR QUALIFICATIONSDegree in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent qualificationExtensive professional experience in a technical role within the construction and/or adhesive industries, with a strong focus on additives knowledge and application expertiseProven experience in portfolio management and market analysisStrong leadership and communication skillsStrong ability to co-operate, co-create, and establish strategies and processes to drive business success collaboratively in an international environmentStrategic mindset, and a decisive approach to driving operational initiativesFluent English communication skills, both written and verbal; able to engage confidently across all levels of the organizationWillingness to travel internationallySAY YES TO CHTWould you like to shape change and bring about change in an internationally active company?
