Join our dynamic Onboard Service team as a Field Service Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and improving our marine systems across Germany and internationally. Your Key Responsibilities Carry out annual servicing, preventive maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and warranty work on marine equipment. Perform pre-sales and warranty surveys, providing accurate and detailed reporting. Deliver training for crew members and fellow technicians on equipment operation and maintenance. Contribute to product development by sharing field insights and supporting testing activities. Ensure clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams at all times. What We’re Looking For Vocational education or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in field service or marine systems. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and P&IDs. Solid IT skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal). Valid German Driving Licence. Physically fit for field-based work, with the ability to work independently as well as in teams under pressure.
