Senior Demand Planning Manager

JOIN OUR TEAMAs a Senior Demand Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s demand planning strategy across our entire portfolio. You will take ownership of developing and refining data-driven forecasting processes, ensuring they not only support accurate planning but also enable proactive, strategic decision-making. Leveraging analytical expertise, you will assess historical performance, market dynamics, and promotional impacts to drive actionable insights. Partnering closely with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Retail Campaigns, you will align demand forecasts with commercial strategies, directly influencing seasonal stock planning, campaign execution, and long-term inventory optimisation. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on forecast accuracy, operational efficiency, and revenue performance. This position is permanent and based in Munich.WHAT YOU'LL DOlead and own the demand forecasting process for assigned portion of SKU portfolio, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectivesdrive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, integrating market intelligence, demand drivers, and promotional strategies into forecasting decisionsmonitor and optimise forecast accuracy KPIs (MAPE, Bias, Rolling Forecast Error), conducting root cause analysis and implementing structural improvementsevaluate and refine demand forecasts for seasonal events, promotions, and market shifts, ensuring alignment with revenue targets, marketing plans, and customer demand patternschampion process innovation by implementing automation, analytical enhancements, and workflow improvements to increase forecasting precision and efficiencymentor and develop demand planning team members, building expertise in advanced forecasting techniques and cross-functional collaborationYOU COME WITHa degree in supply chain, business analytics, statistics, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field6+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain analytics, managing complex, multi-SKU portfolios across regionsadvanced knowledge of statistical and machine learning forecasting methods (e.g., multivariate regression, time-series modelling), with a strong command of metrics like MAPE and forecast biasproven ability to design, implement, and continuously improve forecasting models and planning processesproficiency in Excel and SQL; strong experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to develop executive-level dashboardsstrong communication skills and a track record of influencing senior leadership and mentoring teams; fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)WHY WESTWINGAside from our awesome team and shared purpose, we offer a variety of additional benefits.
