Hendrick Automotive GroupLocation: 6000 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28212SAMPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Review federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C-corporations, trusts and individuals.Review LIFO calculations for all dealerships.Review tax fixed asset schedules for depreciation for all dealerships.Review various year end tax calculations such as computation of demo wages.Respond to state and federal tax notices on behalf of our dealerships.Assist office managers with any tax questions they may have.Research federal, state and local tax issuesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:CPA REQUIREDStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to be a “Team Player”Ability to handle pressure.Handle directions with minimal supervision10+ years experience in the preparation of tax returns (Prosystem Axcess and Engagement experience a plus)Working knowledge of applicable tax law and regulationsProficient computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet applications.NOTE:This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by this employee.
