Multimedia Specialist

The Multimedia Specialist works with the Multimedia Manager to plan, produce, direct, film and edit multimedia productions on behalf of Vanguard in the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will ensure multimedia content aligns with the firm’s brand voice, strategic goals and regulatory requirements.In this role you will: Pitch and execute multimedia solutions throughout all stages of production.Consult creatively and technically with internal stakeholders to understand their multimedia needs and propose viable options for audiovisual production.Brainstorm, schedule and prioritise multiple audiovisual projects in collaboration with cross-functional project teams. Direct, produce, film and edit audiovisual projects, while ensuring production is on-time, error free and – if involving an external agency – within budget. Ensure that, during each step of the production process, stakeholder objectives are being met.Consult and communicate extensively with stakeholders at check points on the production schedule.Evolve and test multimedia production contingency plans to guarantee the end product meets stakeholder expectations. Manage stakeholder relationships across all levels.Use industry best practices to deploy an efficient and effective production process and working environment.Troubleshoot creative and technical issues and recommend solutions.Upkeep of studio and equipment.Direct external agencies/crew and internal and external presenters as needed during multimedia production.Build and demonstrate expertise in various multimedia tools. Maintain thorough knowledge in filming, editing, audio mixing and some animation.Research emerging multimedia technology and introduce innovative techniques where appropriate.Data analytic skills and the ability to make decisions based on key metrics.An appetite for personal development and problem solving.What it takes: Software KnowledgeAdvanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects.Templates are supplied but knowledge is required in how to be able to change and adapt these for each project and the ability to create custom animations is desirable.Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop, Workfront, Wistia, YouTube and Jira would also be useful.Technical knowledgeDSLR cameras (Sony A7siii) (essential)Blackmagic ATEM Pro vision mixing (desirable)Lighting and basic audio setupAutocue software and setupSpecial FactorsHybridRole will involve regular travel in Europe.Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.About VanguardWe are Vanguard.
