Your main mission is to ensure that all technical development activities—from concept to integration—are aligned with system-level objectives, program milestones, and contractual obligations.Description:Develop and maintain the master engineering roadmap, integrating inputs from internal teams and subcontractorsDefine key engineering milestones, maturity gates, and dependencies across system domainsMonitor progress against roadmap objectives, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesCoordinate and control subcontractor engineering roadmaps to ensure alignment with system-level plansReview subcontractor development schedules, technical baselines, and milestone deliverablesFacilitate joint planning sessions, technical reviews, and roadmap synchronization workshopsEnsure subcontractor designs and developments are consistent with the overall system architecture, managing interface definitions, integration points, and system-level trade-offsOversee verification and validation (V&V) planning across subcontractors, ensuring integration into the overall test strategyProvide regular technical status updates and progress indicators for program management and stakeholdersAct as the technical interface between engineering, program management, and subcontractor teamsMentor internal engineers and promote best practices in roadmap planning and technical coordination Your QualificationsDegree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field10+ years of experience in system engineering, with a strong focus on subcontractor coordination and roadmap managementProven track record in leading complex, multi-domain programs with distributed development teamsExpertise in system engineering methodologies (, V-model, MBSE), lifecycle planning, and interface managementProficiency in planning tools (, MS Project, Primavera), modeling tools (, SysML, Cameo), and requirements platforms (, DOORS, Polarion)Familiarity with space systems, ground infrastructure, and integrated network environmentsStrong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilitiesExcellent organizational and analytical skillsAbility to manage complexity across international and multi-vendor environmentsINCOSE CSEP or equivalent systems engineering certification is preferredProject management certifications (, PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus We offer Work Life Balance: Flexible working hours, sabbatical, 30 days vacation & special leave days Mobile Work: Hybrid work & mobile work abroad Structured on-boarding process (incl.
