As part of a cross functional team, the Embedded Software Intern contributes to the definition, development, implementation, and documentation of the software modules, and provides technical support for our global customers.Responsibilities include:Contributes to the architecture, creation, and maintenance of Linux, Zephyr, and bare-metal device drivers and software projects for embedded systems, processors, FPGA, and microcontroller-based platformsContributes to development of system level applicationsContributes to development of design documentation, application notes, How-To guides, and technical articlesDesired Skills and Competencies:Seeking a final-year student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE) or Computer Science (CS)Knowledge of software development languages, including but not limited to C, C+​+, Python,​ and shell scriptingKnowledge of embedded Linux and RTOS systemsExperience with Source Code Management (SCM: Git, SVN), cross compiler and in-circuit debugging toolsGood software design, problem solving and analytical debugging skillsGood understanding of electronics and embedded systemsJob Req Type: Internship/CooperativeRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the time
