Job DescriptionYou would like to make a difference and work together with us on our big target to get fossil free within one generation?On the current journey of Vattenfall towards S/4 HANA our SAP Basis Team is responsible for the management of an international technical SAP system landscape running in the cloud as well as on premise.For the SAP Basis Team, part of Vattenfall IT we are now looking for an ambitious Senior SAP Basis Administrator in Berlin or Hamburg. As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator you will take responsibility of the configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of the technology stack like SAP application and underlaying database.Your tasks and responsibilities:Lead the management of Vattenfall’s international SAP system landscape, including both cloud and on-premise environmentsTake primary responsibility for the configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of the SAP technology stack and underlying databasesManage and execute software upgrades, system installations, configuration, and support package installations. • Oversee HANA database administration and user authentication/security access managementPlan and manage technical projects and upgrades, coordinating necessary resourcesEnsure secure operation and setup of SAP landscapesConduct SAP Basis and database workload analysis and performance tuningCollaborate with integration teams to connect surrounding systems based on current security standardsMaintain and setup SAP High-Availability solutionsAdvanced database administration (Oracle, HANA)Deep understanding of data-center infrastructure, including hardware and software (operating systems/UNIX and Linux)Participate in and potentially lead on-call duty rotationLocationBerlin or Hamburg QualificationsWho are you? As our SAP Basis Administrator you bring strong communication skills, an open mindset and solid problem solving skills. Next to this you bring:University degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent technical qualification/experienceExtensive understanding of SAP software architecture and landscape designStrong technical background in SAP technologiesExtensive experience working in a SAP Basis team in a similar size and complexity organizationProven ability to cooperate with team members and customersOperation of SAP in cloud environmentsProven knowledge in ISMS compliant SAP technical operation.English language skills - verbal and writtenSwedish language skills could be helpful but not mandatoryAdditional InformationWhat we offer At Vattenfall we promote smart working.
