This vacancy is to be filled at audEERING GmbH, either in Munich or in Berlin.We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Software Engineer for our Audio AI Research team to drive the development and innovation of speech and language technologies and create interactive experiences. As a researcher in our team, you can build the future of intelligent interactions via natural language technologies while expanding your own expertise.Your ResponsibilitiesBuild high quality software code for a data pipeline to curate and generate high-quality synthetic and mixed multi-modal data for AI trainingDevelop real-time, low-latency media streaming software solutions for distributed client/server applications for e.g. voice interaction and speech and audio processingWork with software and develop software for mobile devices, web browsers, and cloud backendsContribute to the development of tools and infrastructure for efficient evaluation and benchmarking of AI modelsEssential SkillsVery strong proficiency in PythonAt least basic knowledge of C/C++Strong proficiency in full-stack development (Javascript, REST APIs, Backend, Cloud Deployment)Strong proficiency in building (web-)RTC apps or systemsSignificant experience in reducing latency in real-time systems, including e.g. optimizing inference speed of AI models, optimizing and parallelizing data flow in the application, and use-case engineeringAbility to work in a fast-evolving field, dynamic work environment and to deliver on timeExcellent team player, problem solver and goal achieverBeneficial SkillsExperience in PyTorch, transformer models and other Neural Network architecturesGood proficiency in C/C++ or RustFamiliarity with MLOps practices and toolsExperience in parallel computing with compute clusters and/or major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OracleContributions to open-source projectsExperience with audio and speech generation (synthesis) and transformation (voice conversion, translation, etc.)Experience in psychology or linguistics What we offerA dynamic, highly qualified and diverse team in which your contributions are reflected directly in our products and used by our international customer baseFlat hierarchies and short decision-making processesExciting and varying tasks for our product portfolioExcellent working environment, modern office space and flexible working hours with the option of mobile workingClose connection to academic research (EU and national projects) and a highly innovative companyTeam and company eventsFree drinks, coffee, tea & fruit and snacksAbout usAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
