Your expertise will be central in supporting scalable processes, real-time analysis, and reliable reporting. You will establish robust trading controls, oversee end-to-end trade lifecycle management, enhance our analytical and reconciliation systems, and collaborate closely with our trading and tech teams to empower sustainable growth.What you'll do ✅  Monitor, validate, and reconcile trading activity across energy markets to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Analyze daily trading performance, highlighting anomalies and trends to drive risk management and strategic decision making. Implement, document, and enhance internal controls for trading operations, including process improvements and automation opportunities. Develop, maintain, and present clear trading reports for internal stakeholders, including variance analysis and portfolio risk assessments. Work closely with cross-functional teams (trading, finance, technology, and data science) to mainstream best practices and ensure seamless data flow across the platform. Participate in month-end close processes related to trading results, supporting financial reconciliation and audits. Support system integrations and upgrades for our energy trading and risk management platforms. Champion a data-driven, scalable, and transparent trading operations environment as Tibber grows. What we're looking for⚡ Proven experience in a similar role within energy trading; preferably with exposure to electricity retail markets. Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle management, controls, and financial reconciliation processes. Analytical mindset with experience in interpreting complex data sets and identifying actionable insights for trading risk and performance. Understanding of relevant regulations, compliance, or audit requirements in energy or financial markets (power, gas, commodity exposure a plus). Practical experience in process improvement, automation, or system integration projects. Confident communicator who can present insights clearly and collaborate with trading, tech, finance, and leadership teams. Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with trading, ERP, or data analytics tools (SQL, Python, or similar is considered a plus).
