We ensure that the company’s financial resources are safe, optimally allocated, and support our fast-paced growth.As a Group Treasury Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting daily treasury activities, helping to strengthen our global cash management and forecasting processes. You’ll gain exposure to complex financial operations, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to projects that directly influence SumUp’s financial strategy.What You’ll DoSupport the Group Treasury team in day-to-day operations such as payment processing and funding transfers.Contribute to cash flow forecasting and analysis across SumUp’s global legal entities.Assist in bank relationship management, helping to maintain accurate records and improve internal tools (e.g., transition of documentation into Notion).Collaborate on defining and enhancing hedging strategies and investment policies.Partner with global teams including FP&A, Controlling, Accounting, Tax, and Latin America Treasury to ensure smooth treasury operations.Drive or support process improvement projects, identifying opportunities to optimise workflows and automation.Conduct treasury-related analyses that inform wider financial and business strategy.You’ll Be Great for This Role IfYou’re genuinely interested in Finance and Treasury, and excited to learn in a fast-moving fintech environment.You bring a problem-solving mindset and strong analytical skills.You’re confident working with data and can translate numbers into insights.You’re detail-oriented, well-organised, and proactive about driving improvements.You’re eager to collaborate with international teams and build your professional network.(Bonus) You have some exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAC, or Treasury Management Systems (TMS).Why You Should Join SumUp – Berlin🌎 Opportunity to work with SumUppers globally on large-scale fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our Berlin office.
