Also, responsible for the accounting, bookkeeping and general office procedures.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements by the 5th of the month Works with upper management to make hiring and discipline decisions for accounting staff Reports regularly to and works effectively with HAGOversees preparation of payroll and payroll recordsProvides General Manager and other managers with necessary financial information, including Daily Operating ReportEnsures that necessary controls are in place to safeguard dealership assetsTrains, supervises, and assists office staffOversees additions and modifications to inventoryAssists in Human Resource complianceAttends weekly manager meetingsPrepares daily cash sheetAssists in preparation of annual budgetEnsures that annual external audit requirements are metMaintains effective employee relationsMaintains CSI at or above company standardsMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingFollows Safeguards rules and regulations.Demonstrates the Company’s Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prior management or Supervisory experience preferred. Working knowledge of Dealership documents. Working knowledge of applicable regulations and laws governing the automotive industry. Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills required.Certificates and Licenses:√ Valid Driver’s Licenseo Automobile Salesperson LicenseComputer Skills:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Ability to learn the Dealership Management System, the company HRIS system, Spreadsheet software, accounting software, and inventory software.Communication Skills:Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and company personnel.Attendance Expectations:The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and some holidays.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.Environment Demands:Duties are performed primarily at a desk in an office setting. Work frequently includes analyzing financial records of the dealership, posting accounts, and performing other administrative tasks. Frequently interacts with other employees and members of management.Verbal and Writing Ability:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employee. Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
