FC is searching for a dynamic addition to our team to lead our HR Department. You are personable who thrives working on a small team and is comfortable operating in a dynamic environment. You are a working supervisor, supporting HR in all areas of the business to ensure all administration tasks are completed in a compliant manner. Confidentiality is key in this role, as is quickly adapting to shifting priorities and projects. This job description is not exhaustive. Changes to the outline of the role is expected given the company’s current growth trajectory.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of three (3) years of experience in human resources is required; five (5) years is preferredFluent in English, German skills preferred but not requiredExperience using a payroll platform e.g. Quickbooks, iSolved/Dominion, DATEVKnowledgeable of US labor lawsExcellent written and verbal communication skills are essentialExperience working with the US military community and/or DoD government contracting is highly desirable but not requiredResponsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Develops, implements, and evaluates HR policies, procedures, and practicesCreates and maintains comprehensive Employee HandbookAssists in developing performance appraisalsMaintains employee records, schedules, and timesheetsCompiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism ratesProcesses payroll for all countries within which French Consulting operatesServes as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problemsJoins Program Managers/Operation Managers during counseling sessions and maintains protocol for recordsReviews and finalizes all documentation provided by HR Administrative Assistants prior to distributionAdvises leadership of organizational policy matters, as well as state and federal regulations, and recommend changes to ensure legal compliance and effective human resource practicesOwns the on-boarding/orientation and off-boarding/exit interviewing programsEnsures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertakes disciplinary actions if the need arisesParticipates in HR projects e.g. holiday parties, family daysPrepares and improves HR systems for continuous organizational growthOrganizes workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasksPromotes a positive company culturePerforms other related duties as assigned APPLICATION PROCESS
