Responsibilities:Deliver project goals on time and in full by proactively managing project plans and assigned team members.Define optimized project plans for projects, including internal/external resource needs, development costs, and cost of goods.Ensure permanent collaboration and interaction with critical functions outside of R&D to ensure proper project valuation and ROI.Assemble, revise, and lead the project team, working with functional leadership to assign best-aligned SMEs.Identify and communicate project specific risks, status, and opportunities, including impacts, to executive leadership.What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (, animal science, veterinary medicine, chemistry, biology or related sciences)A minimum of 10 years of experience in Research and DevelopmentA minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D project leadership across species, technology types, and R&D stagesDemonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinkingWhat will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.PhD and/or DVMMore than 5 years of R&D project leadership experience in the animal health industryAdditional Information: Travel: 20% Location: Global Site Based Role or Teleworker
