We bundle our expertise in the four Business units Power and Heat, Renewables as well as Mobility and Water.For our stake in Lahmeyer International GmbH in Bad Vilbel, Germany or at project offices worldwide we are looking for a qualified and dedicated Contract Engineer T&D (m/f/d)Lahmeyer International GmbH is a leading international engineering company specialising in planning and consulting for energy, hydropower and irrigation systems. They stand for experience, quality and global expertise, supporting complex projects from development and planning through to operation, backed by the latest technical methods. Their multidisciplinary team combines comprehensive expertise with local practice to deliver efficient, seamless solutions for complex water resource projects.What you can achieve with us:Manage and administe contracts for large-scale T&D projects (e.g., substations, overhead lines, cable systems)Ensure full compliance with FIDIC contract conditions and company proceduresLead contract negotiations, including claims, variations, and extensions of timeInterface between project teams, clients, legal advisors, and subcontractorsIdentify and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycleMaintain up-to-date records of contract performance and correspondenceSupport project reporting, audits, and commercial reviewsWhat convinces us:Degree in Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in contract management within the T&D or infrastructure sectorSolid knowledge and practical experience with FIDIC (Red, Yellow, and/or Silver Book)Strong understanding of project execution in EPC or turnkey environmentsExcellent negotiation, analytical, and risk management skillsProficient in contract documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communicationFluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plusWillingness to travel to project sites or client offices as neededWhat we have to offer:We offer you the opportunity to participate in sustainable energy projects in a future-oriented, international environment with a high degree of creative freedom.
