Description Why Rolls-Royce?An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer Repair & Overhaul (f/m/d) to join Rolls-Royce Deutschland in Dahlewitz near Berlin.Work with us and we’ll welcome you into an inclusive culture, one that invests in your continuous learning and development, and gives you access to a wide breadth and depth of experience.Key Accountabilities:Ability to generate capability of T1000-TEN and BR700 overhaul including build/strip task (method), repair and special processesCreation, modification and review of SAP build plans (Tech Pack)Define project structures for projects, if necessary as part of large projectsSupport of the shop with technical problems in order to ensure the RFT delivery of the engines / modulesCreation and coordination of special work instructions Analysis, development and optimization of the assembly / disassembly processes (DMAIC, FMEA, FAIR / LAIR) with regard to process control and product qualityFacilitate/analyze problem solving activity (e.g. Solve it Sheets, 8D investigations, QN, MEDA)Interface for assembly-related questions in the areas of engineering, test, quality, planning & controlParticipate/lead in the definition of special tools and equipmentQualifications and Skills:Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge Experience/knowledge in engine assembly/disassembly processes and/or enginemaintenanceStrong communication skills and ability to provide regular updates to internalstakeholdersAbility to effectively influence and manage customer expectationsAbility to work in a volatile environment with quickly changing prioritiesStrong negotiation skills, determination and ability to overcome resistance orsetbacks in order to achieve your aimsAbility to work with engineering specifications, RR process descriptions, drawingsGood written and spoken German and English knowledgeAbility to positively contribute to and lead cross-functional and multi-skilled teamsYou will be a ‘people person’ who enjoys engaging and working in a factoryenvironment, collaborating at all levelsAbility to use both formal channels and informal networks to achieve businessobjectivesWe are an equal opportunities employer.
