You will gain insights into the day-to-day operations of strategic buyers (supplier meetings, requests, negotiations, material group strategies, master data maintenance, etc.) and actively contribute your own ideas. Supporting data analysis (primarily from SAP) and the preparation of this data is part of your responsibilities, as is participation in the optimization and documentation of methods and processes. In addition, you will independently develop and optimize existing templates, checklists, and procurement tools. You will also be involved in project work (e.g., preparation and support of supplier days, supplier base reduction initiatives, etc.). Your Profile You are an enrolled student in engineering sciences, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable degree program. You are interested in strategic procurement or commodity management and have a sound technical understanding. An affinity for IT systems and good skills in using MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint) distinguish you.  Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are required. An analytical, independent, and structured way of thinking and working, a strong hands-on mentality, teamwork skills, initiative, and reliability complete your profile.
