Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Protections Whole Account team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (8 - 14 HPW) for 6 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Working Student Insurance Data Analysis.We are responsible for placing all property and casualty reinsurance within the Hannover Re Group – the final piece in the insurance value chain. From insurance data and analytics to reinsurance contracts: you’ll actively shape the entire process with us.You can look forward to Supporting our team in analysing Hannover Re´s portfolios, including natural catastrophe risks Assisting in structuring retrocession placements and working on contracts between counterparties Helping your colleagues with day-to-day administrative tasks such as file management and data visualisation Gaining insights into our risk management and the fascinating processes of reinsurance You come equipped with Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or a comparable field of study Ideally, initial experience in data processing General understanding of or strong interest in contract law Programming skills in SQL or other languages are an advantage Proficient user skills in German and English Strong communication skills combined with a structured and responsible approach to work You may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
