Purpose of your JobAs Data & Insights Lead in our IT Department, you will ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of our solution platform to enable the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data.In this role you will provide insights that drive business decisions and optimize the technological infrastructure to enhance business efficiency and growth. Are you passionate about turning data into insights and building smart digital solutions?Join us and shape the future of data-driven decision-making at Coriolis—apply todayYour ResponsibilityDevelop and implement comprehensive data and analytics strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Design and oversee processes for collecting, integrating, and managing data from various sources to ensure data accuracy, quality, accessibility and consistency.Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence platforms and dashboardsLead the development and application of advanced analytics techniques to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and ensure data solutions meet those requirements and support business objectives.Ensure data initiatives are aligned with overall business strategies.Translate business requirements into technical specifications and oversee the implementation of data solutions that meet these requirements.Establish and maintain master data management practices to ensure consistency and accuracy of key data across the organization.Implement and enforce data security and privacy policies as well as procedures to protect data assets and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR).Lead the response to data incidents, including investigation, mitigation, and communication. Ensure timely resolution and minimize the impact on business operations. Assist in the deployment, management, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure to support data applications and services. Develop and maintain data backup, disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to ensure data availability in case of disruptions and operational resilience.What you need to succeedUniversity degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related fieldCertifications as e.g. Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate or Power BI Certification, Google Data Analytics Certificate etc. can be beneficial5-7 years of experience in data analysis, data management or a related fieldProficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BISolid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance principlesExperience working with cloud-based platforms and servicesFamiliarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in data analyticsProven ability to translate technical data into actionable business insightsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholdersFluency in German and English (written and spoken)Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindsetExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams #LI-DNI Why to join Coriolis?Let’s formulate innovation together…Our success & development is created by the people working together @Coriolis.
